This is Dave Matchette’s blog. In the mixed-up world we live in, I wanted a place to share my thoughts on the hope that Christians share – all Christians from all times – in the future that is promised to God’s people.
I finished Seminary in 2007 and got a glimpse of the massive transition going on in our culture, both inside and outside the church walls. In times of turmoil and change, we need to focus on a foundation of hope.
While much important debate exists around us – between fundamentalists and emergents, missionals and traditionals, conservatives and liberals – we must all remember that our hope is not in getting everything exactly right. Our hope is in the good news of the one who got it right.
